In the search for a location for the art show INS BLAUE, which was shown at 18 locations on Rügen, the curator Susanne Burmester found the Kronprinzenpalais Putbus. Together with Kunstfest Rügen e.V., it became a partner of the DKB Foundation for Social Commitment, which owns the prestigious property.
Since April 2014 she has been presenting artists who work in an international context in changing exhibitions there. Among them are artists who are rooted in the region. But also numerous up-and-coming talents from Germany and other parts of the world. Workshops for children, a video lounge in the vaulted cellar and art projects with partners expand their program.
