Discover Putbus, the white town of Rügen

Discover the special features of the 75-hectare palace park, which is now fully listed. The island of silence, located right behind the Marstall in the swan pond, is waiting for your declaration of love and in the game reserve the red and fallow deer are waiting for a little treat. Let us show you the many other special features during a private tour of the park. A special feast for the eyes are the countless rose bushes, which are in full bloom in front of almost every house in Putbusser city center in summer. Our rose doctor and his brigade care for these rose bushes with full dedication. If you meet one of them on a city tour, he will be happy to give you care tips.

Active on the water

Lauterbach is a district of Putbus on the Rügensche Bodden. The nature captivates many enthusiastic water sports enthusiasts every year, as does the idyllic harbour. During the season, all berths are quickly booked up in both the „Marina Jaich“ sports boat harbor and the „Marina Jaich“ sailing harbour. Even in Malte’s time, the port was of great importance for the development of tourism in the region. Many maritime offers are posted directly at the port.

Experience the charming city of roses Putbus

Every summer, always at the beginning of July, the LebensArt fair attracts many thousands of visitors to the Putbusser Schlosspark. Here you can collect ideas for house and garden and take the best pieces home with you. Also in July you can experience the White Diner in the castle park on the castle terrace. Dressed entirely in white, the participants feast on many delicacies they have brought with them at white tables. The proceeds are donated to a charitable cause.

Hustle and bustle in Putbus

From the beginning of June to the end of August you can experience a special kind of spa concert in Putbus. The „musical picnic“ awaits you every Monday from 5:30 p.m. in the castle park at various locations. You are welcome to bring your own filled picnic basket and chairs. To get there, you can use the „Racing Roland“, the historic narrow-gauge railway that connects the town of Putbus in the south of the island of Rügen with the Baltic Sea resorts of Binz, Baabe, Sellin and Göhren.
